Christmas Spirit

It’s the most wonderful time, of the year! Can you believe that it’s a week until Christmas – complete madness, right? So, within the midst of last minute Christmas shopping, wrapping and genuine just flapping – remember to take the time to enjoy the things we love about Christmas, and keep the Christmas spirit alive – and no I don’t mean the Gin.(yes I do)

SNOW GLOBES //

I absolutely adore snow globes – completely in love with them. I find them so Christmassy and simplistic that I have to buy one when I see one. There is something so soothing about shaking up a snow globe & winding it up. This year’s addition is below – I am yet to name the penguin on the left, as the right one has been called Barnaby ( please post in comments names and suggestions)

MUSIC//

Go and make yourself an ultimate Christmas playlist with all your faves – not everyone else’s but just yours so you can rock out whenever you can – here are a quick one of some of my faves ( excluding the classics like Slade)

FAIRY LIGHTS //

Okay, so I know nearly everyone has their tree up now but in my opinion, you can never have too many fairy lights. Then again, this is coming from a girl who has them all year round especially on my dressing table. I’ve currently got some star shaped ones wrapped around my headboard & it definitely makes me feel Christmassy (especially because I’m working night shifts over Christmas)

CHRISTMAS BEDDING//

Working night shifts, I’ve found it really difficult to try and get into the Christmas spirit this year – although we do listen to copious amounts of Christmas music at work. As I spend most of my day trying to sleep – I invested in some Christmas bedding which completely did the trick. Not expensive and very effective ❤

CANDLES//

Candles are life. They’re so so amazing my favourite one I’ve ever gotten was a blueberry muffin one – which was just fab because I could light it in the morning and essentially wake up to the smell of freshly baked blueberry muffins. A festive cinnamon or gingerbread candle will certainly get you in the Christmas spirit.

TEA//

Who doesn’t love tea? Well – me for starters, I’m not a fan of an everyday tea, I really don’t like it – much to my boyfriend’s disappointment (means he has to make his own tea). However, the one tea I have been drinking recently is ginger tea. It is literally the best tea in the world – it just makes me feel like Christmas, it’so warm and firey it’s just fantastic on the cold winter nights!

Hope you all are having a lovely run up to Christmas – thanks for reading. Don’t forget, I also have a facebook page – which I would greatly appreciate if you gave it a wee like
